The Gift of a Tree

A stately Valley Oak will be planted in California’s Cosumnes River Preserve in the name of someone you choose.

This Oak will grow to be 40 feet high. It will live 100 years. Each year it will absorb 47 lbs of carbon dioxide from our air. This tree will help reforest an area in Northern California which is being reclaimed by the Nature Conservancy from agricultural destruction.

EarthSea

The EarthSea Institute is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to help single individuals have an impact on global concerns. Tree Life Connection is one of its main projects, with future plans to include planting sites throughout the world. EarthSea’s other focus is Antarctica and the current efforts to preserve the continent in its pristine state.

EarthSea has strong ties to the music industry, and in January 1991 will release Polar Shift, a compilation album–featuring major instrumental artists–to benefit The Cousteau Society in its efforts to save Antarctica.
